Position: Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Facility: Glenview Park Golf Club
Location: Glenview, Illinois

Glenview Park Golf Club is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. This candidate will have a strong knowledge of golf course maintenance tasks, be dependable, professional, team oriented and have great attention to detail and follow through. The individual will have involvement with staff, irrigation & drainage systems, and small projects. Under the Golf Course Superintendent’s supervision, the Assistant Superintendent will direct day to day work schedules and supervise employees. Individual will have extensive involvement with the planning, scheduling, and implementation of the plant health program and safety program.

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in golf course or turf management, horticulture, landscape architecture, agronomy, or related field preferred, but will consider providing training and education opportunities to a strong candidate.
Demonstrated experience working with a golf course superintendent.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Able to attain an IL pesticide applicator license.

Compensation:

Target hiring range for position is $63,000 to $70,000 annually but is highly dependent on qualifications and experience.
