A REIMAGINED RESTORATION

Between the 2023 and 2024 annual PGA event, the Charles Schwab Challenge, Rich McIntosh, Director of Agronomy at Colonial Country Club, and his team undertook and completed a full course restoration. The primary goal of the project was to enhance the playability. As Rich reflects on the experience, he comments, “It’s fun to maintain a golf course that people enjoy coming out and playing on a daily basis and that they’re excited to be out and playing.”
