The Pepper Pike Club is an exclusive private golf club located in Northeast Ohio. The beautiful 18-hole course designed by William Flynn opened in 1924. Located 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland, the Pepper Pike Club offers an amazing landscape and is known for pristine championship conditions and long vistas. In recent years we have completed Pepper Pike Legacy Plan. This plan included bunker reconstruction, fairway, apron and green expansions, green surrounds renovation, cart path construction and extensive tree removal. Future projects include more cart path renovation, an irrigation update, bunker renovations, tree removal and drainage projects.
Requirements:
Current or past enrollment in either a 2- or 4-year Turfgrass management degree or certificate program or related field experience.
Experience:
We are looking to add team-oriented individuals with a passion for the game of golf and course management. Individuals with a positive attitude looking to grow their knowledge in the turf industry. You will work directly with the course Superintendent and Assistants. The positions are designed to help the candidates advance their careers in turf. Our goal is to prepare our team members for the next phase of their career.
Specific duties include hand watering, chemical and fertilization applications, equipment operation and leading small groups to accomplish maintenance and construction goals. Our AIT and Spray Tech will aid in the direct maintenance of the greens, tees, fairways, rough and surrounding property. You will be exposed to all aspects of course maintenance from course set-up, pesticide applications, water management to managing small crews. You will be exposed to many different golf course construction processes, as well.

Compensation:
